In April 2009, I sat with Andrew at his home, after showing him some of the recent footage of his gig, and happened to be quick enough to turn on the Macbook camera and catch some of his amazing, versatile talent. Enjoy!

Andrew Black Band - I'll play the blues for you

VIDEO FILMED BY ANNE HALL OF THE UK

What I (unlovingly) refer to as the "Circus Gig", here anyway is a very nice original song written and performed by Andrew at the Suwanee Summerfest 2009, with Tim Ussery on electric guitar and John Schwenke on bass.

Andrew Black is one of Atlanta's top musicians. I was blown away with this track, recorded on 20 June 2009. This clip is dedicated to Lucy Piller ....xxxx

Recorded on July 02, 2008 using a Flip Video camcorder.

Andrew Black Band "Last Dance With Mary Jane"

Andrew Black and Beau Hall

The Andrew Black Band rocks the house at Buford club "37 Main" with John on Bass, Eric on Guitar, and Jason on Drums. They'll do a repeat performance there soon. Check Andrew's Myspace for details- www.myspace.com/andrewblackmusic Sorry about the one channel audio.Didn't discover till in post that I had a bad device plugged into camera. Not bad tho for a recording using only a lavalier and vocal mic, both strapped to the steadycam.

April 2009 in a remote Georgian club outside of Atlanta called Harbor Lights, local sing-anything, play-anything man Andrew Black performed with his new band members. Dropping in was legendary guitarist Forrest McDonald who smoked on stage, excessively. I had the pleasure and the blessings of Andrew to shoot at will with my Steadycam invention, and I do believe I caught them on a good night. Here is a damn fine rendition of Jimi Hendrixs' Hey Joe.

Recorded on September 7, 2008 using a Flip Video camcorder.
