RODGERS RULES JAPAN. Paul Rodgers was voted the best vocalist by Japanese rock fans. In the 2006 Player magazine Readers’ Poll, Rodgers came out on top of Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler, Eric Clapton, Whitesnake’s David Coverdale, The Rolling Stone’s Mick Jagger, The Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Anthony Kiedis, Bon Jovi’s Jon Bon Jovi and a few Japanese artists to grab the number one position.
…AND RECORDS WITH QUEEN. While he is number one in Japan, Paul Rodgers will also be recording with Queen. As we reported yesterday Roger Taylor, Brian May and Rodgers have been working on some new tracks. And May confirmed the guys will indeed be recording around February and March. But contrary to reports that Queen would be hitting the road, May said they wouldn’t be touring this year.

CANADIAN BAND
FOR BEST NEW ALBUM 2006
"Every Track on this cd is excellent "Lucy Piller
The Sudbury-bred, Southern-fed sound of SUPERSTACK verges on a force of nature - powerful, organic, captivating, relentless. Lead singer and guitarist Scott Donnelly, drummer Brian Lahaie, and bassist Greg Mihajic have grabbed the essence of 70's soul rock by the throat and breathed new life into it with 12 tracks of potent new juice that'll shoot straight up your spine and wiggle its way down again. Conjure up a musical love child of James Brown, Humble Pie, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Jet and The James Gang, and you’ll be on the right track.

http://www.procolharum.com/gnidrolog_cc.htm
Gnidrolog was a British progressive rock band formed in the early 70s
by brothers Colin and Stewart Goldring. The band's name is based on spelling their surname backwards, with concessions to pronounceability. In 1972, they released both their debut and sophomore albums, In Spite of Harry's Toe-Nail and Lady Lake, before disbanding due to a lack of commercial success. Despite having played gigs with fairly well-known bands like Colosseum, King Crimson, Gentle Giant, Wishbone Ash, Soft Machine and Magma in their brief career, they have always remained relatively obscure.
After disbanding, all members went on to do session work.
After a break of 27 years they got back together in 1999 and released their third studio
album entitled Gnosis in 2000

The Springhead Pub Hull UK
Free'd are a four piece band who play the music of Free in the same raw style as Paul Rodgers,
Paul Kossoff, Andy Fraser and Simon Kirke in the late 60s/early 70s.
They play the Merseyside and North Wales rock pub and club circuit.
Live shows in the UK
Friday 12th, The Southend Club, Downham Road, Tranmere.
Saturday 13th Bridge Inn, Wrexham Road, Pontblyddyn, Mold, Clwyd.
Saturday 27th, Oaklands Hotel, Hoole Road, Chester.

Free at Last were formed in 1982 under the name Uncle Sam. Uncle Sam featured three of the current members, Jak (guitar/vocals), Shane (guitar) and Mick (drums) until Dave joined on bass in 1994.
Uncle Sam's set contained a few original songs plus covers by such classic acts as ZZ Top, Pat Travers and of course Free. All the guys in the band have always had a great passion for the music of Free, so in 1996 when deciding to create a tribute there was only one choice who it would be.
Since then they have gone from strength to strength headlining at Bill Flynn's Free Convention and playing many of the top venues around the country, universally agreed to be the best Free and Bad Company tribute around.
With the original Bad Company reforming to promote their Anthology 2cd set, Paul Rodgers releasing solo albums and joining Queen as their singer for a world tour, it only serves to prove sustained interest in what the band are trying to recreate.
So for a night of 70's style red hot blues influenced, soul stealing ROCK the choice must be
