And many more who wrote in with prayers, I am so sorry I didn't reply to you but all these blessings came to me while I was in hospital
and just wanted you all to know - I am on the mend - but needed to express to you how amazing your prayers and thoughts really helped and someone
was indeed watching down on me.
If you are around Sunday stop by the chat room - Looking forward to talking with you
Love LUCY

Free were one of the most influential bands of the late 60s and early 70s with hits including All Right Now.
But did their success lead to destruction? Here, the surviving members talk about their glory days.
Free Forever
Remember the song All Right Now? This is a fascinating insight into the rise and fall ofthe band behind that famous hit; Free.
Free were one of the Sixites most influential bands, formed during the British blues boom. But they only had one major hit, so what happened? This is their story, in their own words...
This unique film talks intimately to each band member as they discuss their experiences and their incredible journey, starting from how they came to decide on the band's name right through to why the band split and how they got back together for the sake of troubled late guitar player Paul Kossoff, who sadly died when he was just twenty-five.
Amongst these in depth interviews with Paul Rodgers, Andy Fraser and Simon Kirke are live performance excerpts from the band at their peak, including their appearance at the infamous Isle of Wight Festival in 1970, when they played to an audience of 750,000 people. Then still riding high on the success of their huge single All Right Now, the band talk about how it felt to perform to such a large crowd and how having a huge hit single was also branded as the 'kiss of death'...
The Concert to End Youth Homelessness. The all-star concert, being held in B.B. King's honor, will also feature Taj Mahal, the Blind Boys of Alabama, Paul Rodgers, George Thorogood, Kenny Wayne Shepherd and San Diego's Eve Selis and Bill Magee.
Mike Patto - Of the 70s band PATTO. I first met this band at a Free gig and became a fan and friend of Mike. His style at that time was so unique, and he always gave 100% at all his shows. This was the real progressive rock during the 70s

My name is Shaun Williamson. I’ve been extremely fortunate to have spent the last 25 years working as a professional singer/songwriter.
I’ve created this blog with hopes of it becoming a great source of “NO BS” information and tips to help up-and-coming artists and bands weave their way through the many perils of the music business.
There are a lot of sites out there promising sure-fire ways to be successful, and sorry to say, there is no such way. Everyone’s road is different. All I can do is provide information from my personal experience. I think it will be great to have some of my musician and industry friends submit articles to share some of their expertise as well!

The Club – The Aqua Restaurant & Lounge has a really cool vibe with a superb restaurant, 2 bars and a brand new sound system. This is truly an “underground club”! Follow the cool blue glow emanating from Aqua and descend the stairs into the under-the-sea themed bar. The subterranean space, formerly operated as the Hustler Club, basks in a Mermaid-style makeover replete with several immense fish aquariums and plasma screens set among dark-hardwood floors and lounge furniture. Squinting humans migrate, in semi-darkness, between two bars and a central stage that has featured live performances from the likes of Dennis Quaid. Don’t leave without trying the exotic “aquatic” cocktails (a Mermaid or Stingray, perhaps?) or numerous tapas options including crab cakes with avocado relish!
Parking tip – Skip the valet--the waits can be long--and opt for parking along Brighton Way or even Rodeo Drive, if spaces aren't available immediately in front of the club.

Paul Rodgers weds Cynthia Kereluk
London, UK (September 24, 2007)
The Soul of Rock
Paul Rodgers married former Miss Canada, Exercise Physiologist and Artist Cynthia Kereluk
in a surprise outdoor wedding ceremony on their 10th anniversary. The guests were invited to a garden party at their country home and were informed that the entertainment would begin at 7 pm - at which time it was announced by Paul that the guests were actually attending their wedding. So, under a rising moonlit sky of shooting stars, in Canada's Okanagan Valley, Rodgers and Kereluk exchanged vows before 70 of their closest friends and family. The most humorous moment occurred when Cynthia was asked do you take this man to be your husband and she responded with, "Absolutely!" and then added, "I do."
"There is magic on earth." said Paul
Paul's Debut Solo DVD "Live in Glasgow" is currently #3 on the US Charts, #1 in Canada and hit #4 in the UK.The 13 camera DVD was filmed on October 13th 2006 at the Clyde Auditorium in Glasgow, Scotland during Rodgers' sold out UK Tour."Paul Rodgers has been and still is by far one of the finest talents of our musical genre."Jimmy Page 2007
In October, Paul will be going into the studio with Queen's Brian May and Roger Taylor writing and recording new songs for a potential Queen + Paul Rodgers album.
